The EVO (acronym for Extreme Velocity Offstring) was a limited production offstring yo-yo released by YoYoJam in 2003 as a signature series yo-yo for Cody Taylor.
It consists of a plastic body with large rubber wings, similar to the German Henrys Cobra. However, the EVO is much larger than the Cobra, and also features a C-bearing and O-ring response. Only one production run of the yo-yos, in a glow-in-the-dark coloration, was ever made. The EVO was distributed exclusively at the 2003 World Yo-Yo Contest.
It wasn't exactly the best-playing offstring yo-yo out there, not even matching up to the more popular Aquarius.
