The Destiny is a yo-yo released in 2011 by YoYoJam as a signature model for Takeshi Matsuura.

Description

Based on the two-stepped shape of the Ai, the Destiny is a composite-material yo-yo in the plastic body/midship metal weight design philosophy. Coming standard with a Solid Spin Axle assembly, it comes included with two different C-bearings; a narrow bearing for responsive play, and a dry Speed Bearing for professional-level performance.

Inheriting the Ai's playing characteristics, the Destiny isn't just great for for 5A, but also for 1A and 3A. For 5A, it comes included with a special counterweight, the Takeshi Die, which features a ball bearing for instant string tension adjustment and a small bead called an "Astro" to allow for Astrojax-style tricks. The same year that the yo-yo was released, YoYoJam gained licensing from Duncan Toys to produce the Takeshi Die, which was originally invented by Takeshi's father.
