The Journey by YoYoJam, is a redesign of the earlier 2002 Patriot. It comes with a new O-ring response system instead of the starbursts, along with a large C-bearing for smooth spinning. Its wide catch zone and relatively standard sizing made it easier to land tricks.
U.S. National Yo-Yo Master Dave Schulte has a signature edition of the yo-yo, named the Escape.
Journey (2014)[]
The 2014 version of the Journey is a re-release produced as a collaborative model by YoYoJam and Yomega. It features an adjustable string gap, allowing the user to adjust the yo-yo's responsiveness to his/her preferences, along with a narrow C-bearing for beginner-friendliness. Compared to the original Journey, it is a bit larger in diameter and a smidge wider, too.
