The Big-Yo is the world's largest name-brand working wooden yo-yo. Made from 220 board feet of California sugar pine and Baltic birch, it was designed by Tom Kuhn as a giant version of his No Jive 3-in-1 yo-yo. It uses a 75 foot braided dacron rope as a string and is launched from a crane. It was first dropped in 1979, and most recently for its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2004. The Big-Yo is currently on display at the US National Yo-Yo Museum in Chico.
