The Rainbow (also referred to as the Rainbow Yo in 1997) is a wooden fixed axle yo-yo produced as a part of the BC line by What's Next Mfg., first released in the mid-1990s. Like the Lightning and the Apollo series, as well as the older Hummingbird Trickster, the Rainbow featured multi-layered lamination. This also gave it extra weight. As the name would indicate, this yo-yo has a rainbow laminated colorway.
The Rainbow was one of the most popular yo-yos in the BC line. It is also a favorite throw of Dale Myrberg, who has a signature series edition of the yo-yo.
