Eiji Okuyama is one of the pioneers of Offstring Yo-yo Play. Wiping away the competition at the World Yo-yo Contest in 2003, Eiji introduced a style of Offstring play that combined both arial tricks (Whips, One Hand Regens and Releases,) and technical Offstring tricks.
