The Chain Reactor by Custom Products is an all-aluminum miniature yo-yo which was very popular in the late 90's. Its body shape is like that of the popular Axl, but in a much more compact design. This shape enables the Chain Reactor to be used for either looping or string tricks.

Although its Butterfly-shaped brother, the Reactor, is more popular among contemporary players, the Chain Reactor represented a solid step forward for affordable, quality metal yo-yos, and was beloved by many players back then. It also features a ball bearing axle and Performance Ring response.

The yo-yo was available in red, blue, purple, and green, as well as an Eric Wolff signature model in black. As of current, the black Chain Reactors no longer carry the Eric Wolff signature.
